Did you know about the ‘save’ button on Facebook?

We’ve all experienced scrolling through our Facebook newsfeed and seeing an article or video we would like to watch at a later date.
However, very few people are aware that you can actually save these posts using the ‘Save’ button and therefore easily view them again at a later time.
Many websites and social media platforms give us the option of safely storing articles, posts & videos. For a long time Facebook was not one of these and users had to share posts in order to easily gain access to them again. However many don’t realise that there is actually a way you can save and access your favourite posts. Yay!
Saving a post that you like on Facebook is fairly simple. When you see something on your feed such as a link or video that you’d like to revisit later, just click the Save button in the bottom right of the post or the drop-down arrow in the upper right of a post (or the “…” on a Facebook page) and then select Save. When you wish to review or share it, you can click “Saved” in the left-hand column and access all your saved content in an organized and simple way (links, places, music, books, movies, TV shows, and events are all categorized).
For now, saved items are private unless you decide to share them. So, you don’t need to worry about other people seeing what you save! The ‘Save’ button is useful if you want to keep an article to reference at a later date, or if you wish to share content with friends but not your full Facebook friend list!
