L&M Surveys are a professional surveying company that provide services for consulting engineers, rail, government agencies & utility companies.
Even though L&M Surveys had a rich history of innovation and of leading the pack in the UK land surveying sector, they tended not to focus on marketing, and were ‘shy’ in regards to shouting about their great services and experience.
We began this project with the design of a new company brochure to condense all of the services that they offer in to one artifact, for their sales team to use. We produced this sales tool by a combination of our design, copywriting, and photography expertise.
We wanted to make sure that the brochure represented the core of what made L&M Surveys special. We were able to portray their both their personality and commitment to using the most up-to-date technology to deliver cutting-edge service.
We conceived the Survey Future Forum event which gathered over 150 of the U.K’s survey industry innovators and influencers to explore and shape the future of the nation’s survey industry, aptly hosted at the Glasgow Science Centre
The idea was to put L&M Surveys firmly in the position of industry leaders and for them to confidently own that space.
We created a website for the event and an online and offline marketing campaign to promote the event.
With a new strategy for growth that required new talent, we helped L&M Surveys with animated videos aimed at potential new employees. These were used at industry events and online in a digital marketing campaign.
L&M Surveys stay at the forefront of the survey industry by using the best technology available. Investing in the latest survey equipment is what allows them to carry out their work to the highest possible standard. It is important that this commitment to technological innovation shines through in their branding and messaging. We designed a range of material for them showcasing their SpheronVR technology at industry events. The idea being to make the Spheron camera look like an object of desire in the same way as Tesla or Apple do with their products.
Equally important to the L&M Surveys brand as their industry leading technology and experience, is their team. They are fully committed to the continuous professional development of all their staff, and are one of the few remaining land survey companies training surveyors in the UK.
We felt that the business needed to make their team more visible to reflect the importance that they place on their people and their development. We planned and art directed a series of photography shoots, and drone filming across 3 locations, capturing the team at work. These images underpinned most of the work we produced for L&M Surveys, and have helped with the brand image of a people focused business.
